Today we lost a great.
Heath Ledger passed away at the young age of 28.
He just had a daughter, so everyone keep them in your thoughts.
At least we get one more work of art, in the form of The Joker I mean.
Goodbye bro, I doubt too many people will be forgettign you.

Metal Gear Solid
Who here loves Metal Gear Solid? I hope to hear a ROARING ammounts of "me!".
Hideo Kojima's well-thought-out, twist turning series has kept us on the edge of out seats for two decades. With the latest installment, Metal Gear Solid 3, anyone who had their faith shaken with the odd story line of Metal Gear Solid 2, and those dissapointed in the fact that you barely play as Snake were born again with faith renewed in this excellent story that taes place in the Cold War era to shed some light on Big Boss' myserious past, and how he came upon the title of Big Boss.
Anyway, that's not what we're here to discuss...
I happened to come across a fan movie starring our friend Solid Snake, called MGS: Philanthropy.
I'm not entirely sure about where the story line will take place, it looks to be between 2 and 4, but what do I know?
Here's the trailer:
They're all European, so I guess you're not getting the genuine article, but if you really wanted that you'd want a Japanese version :).
I'm not sure if it will be good or not, but the trailer looks interesting, and their special effects look nice at the very least!!

Final Fantasy
I'm sure I'm not just speaking for myself when I say the movie Final Fantasy 7: Advent Children was a very well welcomed edition to the series, but I'll get more into that some other time.
I, overall, loved the movie, so I decided to try my luck at a FMV!

First blog in the R33L world!
Well, let me start off with a little about myself!
I am a Computer Information Systems major at DeVry University! I'm going to get my degree in Game and Simulation programming after I'm done there.
I love video games!
Some would call me a nerd, some a jock, it's all in ones opinion ^^
The Greenbay Packers are my heros!!
I absoulty love Bioware's Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic, what is quite possibly the best game that I have ever played!
I'm moving to California when I graduate to persue a job in creating video games, cause that's a dream of mine :)
Let's talk about that for a second, people say dreams are a waste of time, but the only reason no one ever gets their dream is because they listen to people like that! Anyway...
Me=mondo Musician, I love to sing and play guitar, 'tis a passion!
Ok... enough of that... let's talk about what's gonna be goin' down in theis her' blog!
I'm going to give my own personal review of video games, such as, how I would personally rate them, pros, cons, and the like.
I'll update you guys on my schooling, and any job I happen to get with anything video game related.
If anything interesting happens in pop culture, I may touch on it (whether or not to be making fun of them). A recent example would be Tom Cruise's decidedly-creepy video of him talking about his cult.
Hey Tom!!! Remind me to bring my cross next time you're around, I hear they ward of WIERD!
Also, I'd like to say; I'm a huge fan of anime, and if I see something I think you guys may like, I'll be sure to touch on it!!
As long as we're on that subject... I'd like to say, Death Note is surprisingly good, I never thought that an anime revolving around such an annonymous way of killing could be so interesting!
But I must say, Blood+ Has my heart..... Best anime I've ever seen!
But that's all for now!!!
